VIII. Technical Inspection - B: Riding Gear

All riding gear must pass a technical inspection before being allowed on the track.

1. Riders must have a full one-piece leather racing suit with padding. Two-Piece suits are allowed if when zipped together they form one complete suit.

2. Helmet: SNELL 95 or later certified Full Face Helmet. Helmet must be in good conduction with no damage. No aftermarket fasteners are allowed. All helmets must have full face shield (goggles not allowed). Helmets meeting BSI Standard are also allowed.

3. Leather Gloves of approved thickness (no open back or net-back type gloves allowed).

4. Leather boots that extend 3 inches above the anklebone.

5. Back protector.

6. The wearing of any jewelry is not recommended.

7. Sparking knee or toe sliders are not to be worn at any HRRA event.
