I. General Rules

1. All racers must sign the property waiver, racer waiver, and they must complete the sign up form prior to riding on the track each day.

2. If you have a problem of any kind, the first person you need to talk to is the race director.

3. Racers must have Health Insurance to race. (ie: Military, HMSA, KAISER, etc.)

4. All racers must sign the waiver and release forms.

5. A first-time Novice racer must have completed HRRA Track Day safely and without crashing and must have approval from the Race Director.

6. All riders must evaluate the facility for conditions and other matters related to their individual safety. All entrants and other race personnel must rely on their own judgment and assume all risk of participation in any matter.

7. All motorcycles ridden on the track must have proof of ownership.

8. No motorcycle will be ridden by any race entrant or pit crewmember within Hawaii Raceway Park without a helmet.

9. Speed limit within the pit area is 5 MPH.

10. Unsafe riding is not permitted within the pit area.

11. All refueling must be done with the engine off and the rider off the bike.

12. All racers must keep a fire extinguisher available in their pit at all times.

13. Smoking near open fuel containers or while fueling is prohibited.

14. No motorcycle may be ridden on the track or in the pits until after Technical Inspection and riders' meeting have been completed. Motorcycles may be started for tuning purposes prior to technical inspection, but may not be ridden. Lower cowlings must be removed if oil drain plug and oil filter are not clearly visible.

15. If a motorcycle is disabled on the track it must be removed from the track surface. After a crash, the bike and riding gear must be re-inspected before being allowed back onto the track. The rider must report to the EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) for a check-up. A crash is defined as when a handlebar touches the ground.

16. If a rider crashes twice in one day, he / she will be advised to stop racing for that day.

17. Sparking knee or toe sliders are not to be worn at any HRRA event.
